Owners meeting protokoll
- What is not allowed in the minutes?
-
The minutes do not reflect the personal views of the person taking the minutes, but rather the results of the meeting. So limit yourself exclusively to what was actually discussed. Avoid any form of judgment, such as “decorative” adjectives.
- How many owners have to sign the protocol?
-
In accordance with Section 24 Paragraph 6 Sentence 2 WEG, the minutes of an owners' meeting must be signed by the head of the WEG meeting (e.g. property manager) and an owner. If an administrative advisory board has been appointed, a signature from him and his deputy is also required.
- Who can change a protocol?
-
Can the meeting minutes be changed subsequently? Once the protocol has been signed, changes are no longer possible easily! This requires the signature of all signatories. In such a case, you must also make a separate note about the change.
- Who is allowed to write minutes?
-
The minutes are kept by the person named in the association's statutes or by a person elected at the beginning of the meeting. As the name suggests, this person is responsible for taking detailed notes during the meeting in order to create minutes afterwards.
- Who signs away protocol?
-
To prepare the minutes, the administrator needs the signature of an owner present at the meeting and - if there is an advisory board - the signature of the chairman of the advisory board or his representative, Section 24 Paragraph 6 Sentence 2 WEG.
- Who writes minutes at the owners' meeting?
-
Minutes must be drawn up at every owners' meeting. This is required by law. The administrator is usually responsible for this. The protocol is signed by at least two people.
